RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: New Deadline Announced for 32,438 Vacancies

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the Group D Recruitment 2025 application deadline to March 1, 2025, instead of the previously set February 22, 2025. The final date for fee payment is March 3, while candidates can make corrections to their applications from March 4 to March 13.

This recruitment drive includes multiple Level 1 positions such as Track Maintainer, Pointsman, and Assistant Loco Shed. Candidates applying must be between 18 and 36 years old as of January 1, 2025, with certain age relaxations provided due to the impact of COVID-19. Additionally, medical fitness is a mandatory requirement for all applicants.
To apply, candidates need to visit the official RRB website, access the RRB Recruitment 2025 link, complete their registration, log in, fill out the application form, pay the required fee, and submit the form. After submission, it is advisable to download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
The application fee for general category candidates is ₹500, which is refundable upon appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates from reserved categories, including female, transgender, ex-servicemen, SC, ST, and minority communities, need to pay ₹250, which is also refundable after the CBT. The starting salary for selected candidates is ₹18,000 per month.
The selection process consists of a computer-based test (CBT) followed by a physical efficiency test, which requires candidates to meet specific running and weightlifting standards. Male candidates must complete a 1000-meter run in 4 minutes and 15 seconds and lift 35 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes, while female candidates need to complete the same run in 5 minutes and 40 seconds and lift 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes. Candidates must ensure that the birthdate they enter in their application matches the details on their matriculation, SSLC, or equivalent certificate.
